The British airline, Tourism Union International, known as TUI, launched more direct flights between the U.K. and Costa Rica.
According to the Institute of Tourism, starting in November, the airline will offer one additional flight on Wednesdays between the London Gatwick International Airport (LGW) and the Daniel Oduber-Quiros International Airport (LIR), known as Guanacaste Airport.
The airline offers 345 seats in a Boeing 787-900 Dreamliner aircraft as the only direct flight between Guanacaste and U.K.
TUI opened flights between the U.K. and Costa Rica in 2015. Additional information about flight schedules can be found on the airline website.
The U.K. airline is one of many that are increasing the frequency of their flights to Costa Rica. Recently, the Texas-headquartered airline, Southwest, launched more direct flights between Denver International Airport (DEN) and Juan Santamarķa International Airport (SJO).
