By the A.M. Costa Rica staff The Dominican Republic low-fare airline, Arajet, launched a promotional offer, providing non-stop airfare for $3 plus tax on flights between Costa Rica and that country located on the island of Hispaniola.
The special rate is motivated by the Caribbean’s airline having surpassed the milestone of transporting more than 75,000 passengers between Central America and the Dominican Republic within just six months of commencing operations.
Since its launch in September 2022, Arajet has been offering direct and non-stop flights from Las Americas International Airport (AILA) in Santo Domingo to Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) in Alajuela Province on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

managed to strengthen ties and
mutual interest in tourism,
commercial and cultural development
between the Dominican Republic and
Central America," said Victor
Pacheco Mendez, CEO and founder of
Arajet. This
promotion is valid for travel from
April 11 to Oct. 28 of this year.

website. Arajet
is one of many airlines increasing
the frequency of their flights to
Costa Rica. Recently,
the Texas-headquartered airline,
Southwest, launched more direct
flights between the U.S. and Costa
Rica.
