The Texas-headquartered airline, Southwest, launched more direct flights between the U.S. and Costa Rica, announced the Institute of Tourism.
Now, the airline will offer one additional flight on Saturdays between Denver International Airport (DEN) in the U.S. State of Colorado and Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO) in Alajuela Province.
The flight departs from DEN at 7 a.m. ET to SJO. Then, from SJO it departs at 1 p.m. Costa Rican time to DEN.
Southwest opened flights between the United States and Costa Rica in 2015. Additional information about flight schedules can be found on the airline website.
Southwest is one of many airlines increasing the frequency of their flights to Costa Rica. Recently, Frontier announced new direct flights between the Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport (LIR) in Guanacaste Province and Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) in the U.S.
