Silicon Valley-based company, CSS Corp, a global customer experience and technology services provider has announced 200 new customer support position vacancies at its service center in Ultra Park Industrial Zone in Heredia.
The firm Indian-origin firm counts more than 10,000 employees in 19 locations around the world.
“We are delighted with the growth potential that Costa Rica has offered us in recent years. We aspire to attract, retain, and elevate talent in the region, and thank the government and local authorities for continuously supporting our efforts to recruit human capital and expand our presence in the country,” Jayagopi Andhoor, LATAM Manager and Vice-President of CSS Corp said.
In Costa Rica, CSS Corp has a team of more than 1,600 employees, who provide both customer and company support to English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German and Italian clients. Those interested in applying for an open position should present their résumé in English, this Friday or Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm at the company headquarters in Heredia. Also, people should apply on the company Jobs website.
According to the Costa Rican Investment Promotion Agency, CINDE, in 2021, the country's Services Sector exceeded 100,000 jobs.
CSS Corp is one of many international companies investing in Costa Rica. This week, the Ohio headquartered Express, Inc., a fashion clothing company that operates retail, outlet, e-commerce and mobile shopping channels, opened its technology department operations in Heredia Province.
Even though new businesses are creating jobs in Costa Rica, the unemployment rate is 12%, according to the National Employment Survey. The survey reveals that, from March to May, there are approximately more than 293,000 people without registered jobs. Of these 162,000 are women, making up 55% of unemployed people in the country. --------------------
