The Charlotte, N.C.-Headquartered pastry shop, Krispy Kreme opens its first cafeteria at Guachipelín Shop Center in Escazu Canton in San José.
The inauguration will be held on May 13, at noon. As part of the opening promotion, the coffee shop will give away donut boxes to its first 200 customers.
Over the weekend, pastry shop waiters gave hundreds of donut boxes to passers-by in high-traffic places such as the Avenida Escazu Shopping Center in Escazu and Central Avenue in downtown San José.
Krispy Kreme’s expansive network of nearly 12,000 locations in over 30 countries. The American brand is famous for its donuts such as whole wheat glazed, Reese's-branded chocolate and peanut butter, candy-coated donuts with jelly belly, sour gummies and marshmallows as well as coffee, chocolate and shakes among many others.
Delivery will also be available for online food orders and delivery platforms.
Krispy Kreme is one of many U.S. brand restaurants opening in Costa Rica. Recently, Arby’s brand officially welcomed guests into its new restaurant in Curridabat Canton in San José Province. The restaurant is offering sandwiches, wraps, sides, and shakes. ---------------------
