The Social Security public clinic, known as Ebais, in Jaco Beach, Puntarenas Province, will hold a massive dental medical care campaign.

According to Social Security, the campaign will take place at the Civic Center for Peace, in Jaco Beach, from March 20 to 24. From Monday to Thursday, medical hours will be from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Friday the medical service hours will be from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The health workers aim to serve at least 3,000 patients already assigned to this clinic. Dental specialists will provide a full range of medical services such as whitening, extraction, restoration, fillings, dentures and even low-risk surgeries that can be performed on the same day.

Clinic workers will contact patients, based on their registration information, to set up medical appointments. However, residents of Jaco Beach with pending dental treatments can obtain more information about the medical campaign by visiting the clinic information office or by calling 2661-0227.

This is a handful of non-emergency medical service campaigns that Social Security has launched to reduce waiting times for medical appointments. The campaigns attempt to catch up on all non-emergency services put on hold during the height of the pandemic in 2020.
