Headquartered in San Francisco, California, U.S.A. Sysdig Inc. is hiring for its Costa Rican offices, to meet growing demand from clients in global markets.

The cloud security company, creators of Falco, are an open-source threat detection and response standard for cloud-based software.

"As we continue to grow to meet our client demand, Costa Rica serves as an ideal place to build our team and infuse local talent and experience into our engineering, finance, human resources, and legal teams," said Paris Georgallis, VP of Customer Engineering at Sysdig.

New hires in Costa Rica will join a global team of more than 700 employees distributed over offices in the United States, Italy, Serbia, Spain, Israel, Germany and France.

Sysdig offers hybrid and remote employment opportunities in a flexible, collaborative, and diverse work environment, offering prospects for growth and professional development.

Available vacancies include positions in software development, software quality, customer solutions engineering, professional services, sales operations, product marketing, data analytics and finance among others. People interested in learning about employment requirements and applying for an open position should visit the company’s careers website.

Sysdig is one of many U.S. firms hiring in Costa Rica. Recently, the New Jersey-based GEP, a services sector company, announced 200 open vacancies at its services center located in San José Province.

Even though new businesses are creating jobs, the unemployment rate remains at 11.8%, according to the National Employment Survey. The data recorded from November 2022 to January 2023, shows that there are more than 287,000 people without registered jobs. Of these, 148,000 are women, making up 51% of unemployed people in the country.
