The U.S. orchestra conductor Sharon Lavery will lead the National Symphony Orchestra in two concerts at the National Theater in downtown San José. Lavery has an extensive career leading major concerts in places such as Carnegie Hall. Also, she has led renowned orchestras such as the Vermont Symphony, the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra, and the Pacific Symphony, among others. Since 2007 she has been the Principal Director of the Downey Symphony Orchestra. accreditation ceremony will take place

celebration activities, the band will
give a free concert at 10 a.m. The Expressive Theater at Momentum Shopping Center in Curridabat San José presents the play “The Little Prince version Zaguate.” The play seeks to collect funds to help the Tierra de Zaguates foundation, which has a shelter for abandoned dogs. The Pantagruel's Whimsical Dreams exhibition includes drawings and paintings by the Spanish surrealist artist Salvador Dalí at the Jade Museum in downtown San José.
