Triz
Engineering, a South African-based
company, on engineering services for
commercial vehicle engineering and tier
suppliers in Northern America, has opened
operations in Costa Rica.
“The decision to expand our operations to Costa Rica was two-fold: first, being the opportunity to operate in a similar time zone to our clients; and second, the ability to gain access to the highly skilled pool of talent available in Costa Rica,” said Johann Vorster, Triz Engineering President.
The firm opened its facilities in WeWork, at C3 office center, Heredia Province, where they will hire 20 people. People interested in job opportunities should visit the firm's Career website.
According to the company, the Costa Rican branch will play a critical role in the long-term strategy for the family of companies in GVW Group, improving engineering services by enabling Triz Engineering to better support U.S. customers in similar time zones and provide onsite support at short notice.
In addition to improved service delivery, the Costa Rican presence will enable Triz Engineering to enter new market regions and explore new opportunities.
Triz
Engineering works with some of the
largest truck original equipment
manufacturers in North America,
providing end-to-end engineering
services from feasibility and
conceptualization, through
production and service support. Its
solutions include design for
zero-emission solutions such as
battery-electric- and fuel cell
vehicles, as well as hybrid- or
conventional-powered products, where
it offers solutions for other
advanced vehicle technologies such
as ADAS, vehicle autonomy and
telematics, the company said in its
statement. Infosys
is one of many international
companies hiring in Costa Rica.
Recently, Infosys
BPM, a branch of the
India-headquartered firm
Infosys, a
digital services and consulting
company, opens 400 job vacancies in
Costa Rica. Although
new businesses are creating jobs in
Costa Rica, the unemployment rate is
13.7%, according to the National
Employment Survey. The survey
reveals that there are approximately
more than 333,000 people without
registered jobs in the country from
October to December 2021.
