Maryland-based Health Prime, a medical services company, opens more than 100 job vacancies in Costa Rica.

According to the firm, the job opening is part of expanding its operations in the country. They are currently recruiting trained staff with a command of the English language for customer service.

“Costa Rica is a country with highly trained staff and with great human potential. Since the company arrived in the country, we have been growing and consolidating our operations thanks to the quality and commitment of our employees," said Jorge Lobo, the Health Prime Country Director. "Our objective is to continue to provide job opportunities, training, and professional growth for our employees.”

The company is offering job positions in the area of Financial Services for Patients, which is a department specializing in handling calls from medical practice patients in the United States. The company is seeking to fill vacant positions in this department for call center agents, leaders, and team instructors. People interested in applying for a job should visit the firm's Careers website.

Health Prime began operations in Costa Rica in December 2019 with 41 employees. Currently, with a total of 80 employees, it provides support to medical practices throughout the full U.S. territory. The company offices are located in the Cariari Corporate Center in Heredia. The firm also has operations in the United States and India.

Health Prime is one of many international companies expanding operations in Costa Rica. This week, the London-based British American Tobacco Group, announced the expansion of its operations in the country.
Although several companies are offering jobs, Costa Rica remains with a 15.3% unemployment rate, according to the National Employment Survey. The survey reveals that there are approximately more than 378,000 people without registered jobs in the country from July to September 2021.
