The Costa Rican Innovation and Promotion organization announced the opening of the non-reimbursable grant "Propyme + Clusters 2022" to entrepreneurs or small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
According to the organization, the "Propyme + Clusters 2022" funds keep about $180,000 to distribute among the chosen companies. The selected companies will receive up to a maximum of about $30,000 to finance their business proposal.
The funds are designed to cover 80% of the total cost of the project, so the company must cover the remaining 20% to achieve 100% coverage of their project cost.
These funds are financed with a loan from the Inter-American Development Bank and are managed in coordination with some public institutions, such as the ministries of Science, Labor and Economy, among others.
People interested in applying for these grants must have an active company and develop operations related to a cluster initiative of the National Cluster Program.
In addition, the company must be registered as a SMEs and have no unpaid tax or Social Security fees.
The deadline to apply for the funds is Sept. 9. Complete information about the contest can be found in the Spanish language on the Costa Rican Innovation Promoter website. ------------------ Professional's
