Despite the Costa Rica Soccer Team was beaten by Canada Team 1:0 in the game that was held on Friday, at Commonwealth Stadium Edmonton in Alberta, there are still chances to reach a spot in the Soccer World Cup in Qatar.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be the 22nd running of the FIFA World Cup competition, the quadrennial international men's football championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA. It is scheduled to take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022.

In this knockout phase, Team Costa Rica is in the fifth position, behind Panama, Canada, Mexico and the United States.

However, there are still seven new games along with Honduras, Panama, Mexico, Jamaica, Canada and the USA. The Costa Rica team must win in all of these matches to achieve a place in the World Cup.

According to the Costa Rican Soccer Federation, the next game against the Honduras Team will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 16,  at 7 p.m. at the National Stadium, located in Sabana Canton, San Josť Province.

The star goalkeeper Keylor Navas will be part of the team this time. He could not play Friday against Canada because he was injured.

The Ministry of Health authorized 25% of the capacity of the Stadium for the match Costa Rica - Honduras. This is equivalent to 8,750 fans allowed to enter, said the Federation.

Tickets, between $16 and $24, are on sale at specialticket.net.

Friday's match gave the Canada Team a better place in the running for Qatar. According to Canada Soccer, the official governing body for soccer in Canada, the team earned a vital three points defeating Costa Rica 1:0 in front of 48,806 fans at Alberta's stadium.

Jonathan David scored for Canada at minute 58, he "was in the right place to pounce on it, and side foot a shot through the crowd and into the net," said Canada Soccer in its statement.

Canada will also play more matches along with Honduras, USA, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Mexico and Panama.
