U.S. taxpayers overseas can now get right with the government with a special program. 

But they need to act before the government does or they are out of luck.




The U.S. Internal Revenue Service said this special program have been expanded and modified to accommodate a broader group of U.S. taxpayers, including those living and working overseas.

 Taxpayers who made errors or omissions can file  amended or delinquent returns as long as they didn’t do so on purpose.

With all the rules and regulations, overseas taxpayers can easily be confused and face massive penalties and fines later.

Once the IRS begins looking into an individual return, the taxpayer no longer is eligible for this program that lets them avoid criminal liability.
